I'm not one to decorate for Halloween, I prefer to just decorate for fall.  My kids are always begging for scary decorations!  I decided to compromise and instead make this cute Boo door hanging instead!

Reusing is so big right now.  We all have corrugated cardboard boxes laying around, so let's reuse them!

I cut out 3 same size circles (I think I made mine 4 inches) from a sheet of cardboard.  I covered each piece with patterned paper and let the adhesive dry.  Once dry, I grabbed ahold of the edge and ripped the top layer of cardboard and paper off, revealing the corrugation.

Place a mask on the circle and spritz with some shimmer spray.  I used a blue shimmery Maya Mist for this.  I then removed the mask and sprayed with an orange Maya Mist.  This made the webbing orange.  I love the different hues you get from the ripped cardboard and paper!  Repeat this on all 3 circles.

Next, I cut out some spooky goodness from the Cricut Paper Dolls cartridge.  I spritzed the white skeleton with some Glimmer Mist so he wasn't so white.

I also spritzed a Grungeboard swirl with the mists.

I cut out “BOO” from the Cricut Plantain Schoolbook cartridge.  I painted the letters with the distress crackle paint.  Once dry, I rubbed a black ink pad over top to bring out the crackle more. I also coated them with some glitter paint to make them pop a bit more.

Once I had all of my embellishments picked out, I attached the 3 circles together, with the middle one sitting on top of the end ones.  Add all the embellies and some trim as a hanger and you have a cute little decoration!!

Here are some other views.  I used foam dots to get some depth.  You can see these a bit from a side view, but head on they are invisible.

Hope you like this fun project!!  This is fun for kids to do too!

If you have any questions about anything, please ask!  It's sometimes hard to write up directions!

This project uses these items from the Scraptacular store:

Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint

Tim Holtz Haunted Masks

Tim Holtz Sprocket Gears

Tim Holtz Grungeboard

Maya Road Mist (a shimmer one and a plain one)

Glimmer Mist

Stickles

Clearsnap Smooches

Pink Paislee Winsome Eyepopping paper

Great project!  This is a good excuse to purchase some new scrappy things.  I don't have anything on the list.
